New Dimensional Fashion in London

If you a larger man or if you are shopping for one, you will know that shopping for suits can be a bear. Style choices may be somewhat limited, but there are still a few things you can do to make the process easier. First, if the gentleman cannot go, get his specific measurements, specifically his neck size, inseam, and arm length. The reason for these is that unless you larger man just happens to be proportioned right, buying a standard 20 inch neck is going to usually result in sleeves that are way too long. Next, your darker colors are going to be a better choice for a larger man as these colors tend to be more slimming than others. Also, consider getting a larger tie for the gentleman to make sure that it has sufficient length to pull off the look you want. Also, stay away from your short sleeve shirts with larger men as many of these will wind up being more like half sleeves or longer if your man is under 6’. If you have to choose between too long and short sleeve, go long and slightly roll up the sleeves. By the time you get to the point where you will probably take your coat off, nobody much will notice rolled up sleeves. The above tips should give you a little extra insight in finding the right suit for a man. Do a little extra research in your own time, but being mindful of the occasion will typically remain the biggest factor for shopping for a suit. For that fact, I will invite you to squeal with me over the fact that it is (kind of) coming back:

The Carrie Diaries – the prequel to Candace Bushnell’s Sex and The City – is being turned into a TV programme! With Sarah Jessica Parker swapped out for AnnaSophia Robb, high school senior Carrie Bradshaw is coming back to our screens with an ingenious 1980s flair. With former Sex and the City writer Amy Harris on board, and Gossip Girl producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage at the helm, I suspect a world of 18-to-60-year-old women are going to tune in for the premiere. For the fashion-focused timeline of our new Carrie Bradshaw, at least (see the first glimpse from the set, above).I imagine another styling glory with Stefania Owen’s casting as Carrie’s younger sister, Dorrit – the rebellious attention-seeker. I presume Chloe Bridges – as Carrie’s nemesis Donna Ladonna – is going to have some major fashion moments, also. Since the summer, we have been working with the talented Design Science Office, a boutique design agency in London, to create a visual identity to match the voice that BoF has developed over the past two years.

In addition, we aimed to improve the navigability of the site and improve the access to our growing archive of content. And voila! The first major change you will notice is our new logo. I noticed that readers and subscribers were beginning to use the BoF moniker instead of our full name (which admittedly can be a bit of a mouthful), so we decided to integrate 'BoF' into our visual identity as well. In the coming months you will also see this core identity expand into a canvas to highlight the designs of fashion designers and illustrators from around the world. As for the site structure, it was important to give our readers better access to the most read BoF content of all time (The Business of Fashion: Basics) as well as the most popular articles from the past month. And, we have also added functionality to enable you to share articles with your colleagues via Email, Facebook, Twitter and de.licio us. Best of all, we have lots of new content planned for 2009, including a proprietary video series called "Inside the Studio" and more opinionated analysis from new columnists and contributors, all in the original BoF spirit. Each man is different when it comes to buying a suit. How should you chose yours? Here are a few tips for buying a suit of your choice. First, what is the purpose for the suit? Are you looking for something professional, something formal, or are you trying to show off? Picking the right suit is a gamble (although you can read more for more tips in gambling). With your formal occasions, you can definitely stick with your basic suit and can even get away with your base colors of black and navy blue. This works well if the occasion is for someone else. You don’t want to take attention away from the guest of honor. On the other hand, if you do want the attention, you may want something that pops a bit. While the classic really sharp black three-piece ensemble can work for this, consider something a little more eye catching.
A glimpse of a bold color may do the trick: such as a white ensemble, accentuated by combination of red dress shirt. An example of when you want to go this route is if you want to be noticed, such as a formal party or if you were playing some high stakes blackjack at your local casino. Here is a new trend in fashion in London that has not received the importance it deserves. The wig. There was a time when going in for a wig was a very embarrassing experience. Wig were used to hide the balding scalp caused by hair related problems. Of course, the embarrassing consequence of the wig coming apart in public was also an issue. So, what has changed? Why have wigs become acceptable today? Being bald has become a lot more acceptable today. Hair restoration solutions, laser surgeries, hair regrowth gels and tablets- there are many solutions available in the market for a person who is facing hair related problems. In such a scenario, going in for a wig just happens to be one of the many solutions available. It is not a big deal as it was in the past. Secondly, the quality of manufacture of wigs has become better.
The natural hair is woven together and fitted to the wig in such a manner that it looks completely natural and real until the person wearing the wig discloses that it is fake. Thirdly, manufacturers have gone ahead and come up with numerous ideas for making the wig look cool. If your hair is not suitable for a particular style, you can go in for a wig that has been designed in that particular style only. This means that you do not have to waste your time manipulating your hair or treating it to get the style right. You can change your style by simply going in for different wigs. This is no different than an organization purchasing multiple roller banners and having a different message inscribed on each banner. These are the solutions are becoming popular today primarily because of the social acceptance for wigs.
Old Fashion
There was a time when spectacles were considered ugly. Today, they have become a part and parcel of every stylish individual’s ensemble. When I first started writing London Cycle Chic. I did a lot of research into the barriers that prevent people from cycling. Safety fears were by far the main barrier. And although the image of cycling has seen a vast improvement in recent years and there are more bikes on the London streets, is it really any safer than it was 5 years ago? I cant speak for the whole of London but I haven't seen many changes to the routes I do regularly. And especially as most of my journeys are now done with my 3 years old daughter in tow, I am highly aware of any possible dangers or risky roads. On our regular journey to the swimming pool, I opt for as almost entirely non-road route, through a business park , along a very wide pavement (cus it just seems silly not too when faced with the busy A315). This is by no means a cycle specific route but as a lot of cyclists do you make up your own route in preference to busy, vehicle orientated roads. As cycling becomes more and more popular and everyone seems to agree it a jolly good solution for London's transport problems, surely more radical changes need to be taken.
The unnecessarily wide pavement on my way to the swimming pool has very few pedestrian's using it. I have often thought it would accommodate a segregated cycle lane rather nicely and then perhaps we would see more Mums and Dads cycling there kids to the swimming pool rather than driving. There are however quite a few journeys where I can not find a sneaky alternative route and the main road is the only way to go. These are often a no no with the little one and we both end up glum on the bus. The LCC  campaign is  focused on putting a stop to car-centric planning and making a dedicated space for cyclists on these larger roads. Set in a Central London town-house, the Starworks PR show-space was an apt setting for the high-end collections hanging within. Vauxhall Fashion Scout's E.Tautz was one such label, with it's simply cut, tailored pieces showing how Saville Row can be worked into the everyday. Hand woven tweeds, cotton poplin shirts, and over-sized check scarves are just the sort of pieces you can wear everyday, but what makes them different is Patrick Grant's considered approach to how they are constructed. Grant said to us in February that he wasn't "actively trying to change the perception of Saville Row tailoring", but intentions aside, that's exactly what he's done- well, we no longer picture top-hats and monocles when "one" mentions Saville Row, anyway... Or was that just us to begin with? To celebrate this new union, Converse are to release some 100 Club sneakers - their black and white classics just adorned with the '100' logo which I got a fab close up look at when I popped into their head offices last week.
English Rock
All sorts of ace bands are getting involved with it including Gorillaz, who have also launched their own range of Gorillaz inspired Converse. They played the 100 Club a couple of months ago and the venue is set to have a whole host of amazing new gigs courtesy of Converse - bringing some much needed live music love into the area since the demolition of nearby venue The Astoria in 2009.  If there's anything I love more than Converse it's Converse supporting my other love - local, live music. If it was humanly possible, I love Converse just that tiny bit more now for saving the 100 Club and will definitely be getting myself a pair of those 100 Club sneakers because they're very subtle but awesome. They are to be released in the Summer but i'm not 100% sure of the exact date. What do you think of Converse saving the 100 Club? Do you like the 100 Club Converse idea? Sorry my pictures of the sneakers aren't 100% clear but the 100 detail is basically in clear lacquer. As I’m sure you know, I absolutely love reading blogs and watching beauty video tutorials (in all shapes and sizes) but the one’s I look back to again and again are those that have something different about them.
Sensational Beauty
There are plenty of other beauty bloggers on Youtube (of whom are very successful) but those that force me to keep watching are the ones that have some individuality. I think Promise is one of these individual bloggers – as although the tutorials aren’t something I’d re-create myself, I absolutely love watching them and seeing the final result. Some of her more ‘spectacular’ make-overs include the Micheal Jackson ‘look’ which has been viewed nearly 1,000,000 times since she posted it online. The contouring of the face to create Jackson’s famous cheekbones is spot on, as is the re-creation of the bridge of the nose. Looking at it though, it does remind me a little of the shading/colours you use when face painting. How much make-up do you need on for it to be regarded as face paint? Earlier at the start of the year the 100 Club in London was under threat of closure due to their rent increase. 100 Club has been a huge part of the music industry for over 70 years, hosting some of the UK's most prominent and historic bands, anything from The Clash and the Sex Pistols to The Libertines and Gallows.
It opened in 1942 after starting out as a restaurant hosting jazz music but 30 years later it started hosting new acts, from r'n'b to punk and later on indie too. So many iconic bands have played the venue from Oasis to Metallica it's heartbreaking that it was even considered that it might close. No one else felt this passionate about music quite like none other than Converse, the USA's coolest sneaker brand. Having been a huge advocate for live music for years, Converse stepped in to help out with the costs of the venue as their new sponsor to ensure it kept running.

Fashion in Australia

Australia is one of the developed and rich country. The people of Australia are very stylish and romantic. The culture of Australia is very fibulas and fashionable. Romance Was Born will kick off proceedings as they expose what’s already been billed as one of the most talked-about collections on the timetable. “The thrill is building in anticipation... and Romance was Born is a correct kick off to the 2012 season,” assumed Jarrad Clark, Global Production Director of IMG Fashion. as well sure to excite and delight are a few of Australia’s major fashion players who will once again obtain to the stage with Akira, Dion Lee, Josh Goot, Ellery, Zimmermann, Kirrily Johnston, Toni Maticevski, Carl Kapp, Magdelena Velevska, Jayson Brunsdon. Ginger & Smart, Camilla, Alice McCall, Bec & Bridge, Lisa Ho, Gary Biogenic, Manning Cartell and Gail Sorronda presenting their collections even as the editors and buyers of Australia and the world timepiece. It is a universal truth that female have a love affair with fashion. It is also an implicit reality that a woman can live indoors her closet just by being surrounded by her clothing articles and pieces. To a woman, fashion is element of her femininity, and clothing articles are more than just her important possessions.
To her, clothing pieces, accessories, shoes, and even bags are her family unit. In a forever shifting fashion world, the reality is to run after it and make sure that the newest fashion is within the grasp of any woman’s fingertip. This year will as well see two New Generation shows with so a great deal new home-grown talent there’s bound to be a Goot or Maticevski among them. Fernando Frissoni will secure proceedings with his invite-only Masquerade spectacular set to be a fitting climax to the week. March 2012: A new exhibition, Faith, fashion, fusion,Muslim women’s approach in Australia, developed by the Powerhouse Museum will travel around a growing fashion market in Islamic women’s fashion in Australia nowadays. Established by Tarik Houchar, Hijab House was one of the earliest Australian Muslim women’s fashion retailers to unlock inside a mainstream shopping centre. The flagship store opened in Bankstown Centro, Sydney in September 2010 and in the following April a next store opened in Stockland Mall Merrylands. Tarik introduced a brand new take on what it is like to be a fashionable, young Australian Muslim woman using striking style photographs which appear in the store windows, a playful, carefully co-ordinate store environment and engaging Face book and online store conversation. Opening 5 May 2012, trust, fashion, fusion showcases a new generation of Australian brands near are designing, retailing and marketing stylish clothing for Muslim women, to meet their desire to dress creatively and fashionably, while remaining committed to their Islamic faith. The brands and the designers behind them are revealed below.Kath Fry and Eisha Saleh are business and creative partners in the self-effacing fashion label baraka which in 2009 won Muslim Business of the Year. The two met while studying Islam at the Daar Aisha Sharia College in Lakemba and had an immediate rapport over their mutual love of fashion. Finding it difficult to buy modest clothing that was also fashionable they decided to do it themselves translating high fashion trends into more modest styles for a diverse customer bottom from women from various faiths to those who want to dress in flattering clothing that offers more coverage. Kindred was kind sufficient to send me this abercrombie t-shirts to be reviewed. Kindred are one of my favorite stores out there, so I recommend every person check them out.

They print all their abercrombie fitch shorts on American Apparel, which is a big boost in my judgment. The shirts and very comfortable and made in the USA to walking boot. As for the design, I really like it (which makes sense,ed hardy clothing sale given that I picked it). I’m assuming it’s based on Planet of the Apes, but irregardless, there’s just something about the design that makes me laugh. ? I guess I’m just a sucker for these types of designs. Also, Kindred uses quite nice printing techniques, as the actual print is very soft and hardly (if at all) noticeable. Sisters Howayda Moussa and Hanadi Chehab set up Integrity Boutique at the end of January 2010 “I had just put on the scarf,” says Howayda. “I was looking for new places to shop…but everywhere had the same traditional clothes…I couldn’t find any variety!” As a result, Integrity Boutique was founded as a designer-retailer of modest evening and formal wear aimed at both Muslim and non-Muslim woman who wants to dress stylishly, but with that extra coverage.Aheda Zanetti is founder and designer of Ahiida™, one Australia’s best known swimwear and sportswear brands.Designed to assist Muslim women comfortably and modestly take part in competitive and recreational sports her swimwear is also in demand from women who want sun safe garments and styles that provide more coverage.Zanetti’s designs and story have resonated culturally, socially and politically both here and overseas and appear in some surprising contexts.
The name of her modest swimwear design, the Burqini, was elected as Macquarie Dictionary Word of the Year in 2011 and her story was adapted for the short play ‘The Modest Aussie Cozzie’ by award-winning writer Alana Valentine. Zanetti’s first name is listed on the online parenting resource BabyCenter India under the article for baby names enthused by fashion designers. Aheda (Zanetti) appears alongside Stella (McCartney) and Gabrielle (Chanel). For 150 years, since the 1830s, the wool industry was the backbone of the Australian economy and in 1870 the country became the world’s biggest supplier of wool for clothing – a position still held today. For many years, wool was our largest export product – some years being pipped by commodities such as whale oil and gold – but it had the greatest impact on the economy during the Korean War, when, in May 1951, soaring demand lifted prices to 375 pence a pound. The use of wool in uniforms created massive demand for the tough, warm fibre during wartime, but the opposite also held true. By 1991, demand from the Soviet Union and China had plummeted, putting the industry’s centrally controlled, fixed-price buying scheme under extreme pressure because growers were guaranteed an artificially high price – unsold wool was being purchased by the Australian Wool Corporation using government-backed borrowings. Eventually the government forced the industry to twice reduce the reserve, then forced its abandonment – leading to a 45 per cent drop in wool prices.“Woolgrowers who’ve hung in there for 20 tough years are rapt that they’re getting these prices,” says McCulloch. “The test of an industry is how they can recover and how they can pull themselves out of those harsh times and get the industry back on track.”
The industry has also had several much-needed help. From nature, a break in the 10 year drought that took a toll on feed and sheep numbers. And from environmentalists, a universal resurgence of interest in wool as not just a classic, long-wearing material, but an environmentally sound one, has been supported by no less an authority than the Prince of Wales. In 2010, frustrated by fiber substitution and shocked by the lousy price he got for his estate’s wool produce a year before, HRH launched the Campaign for Wool in the UK. Here, he argued, was a “versatile and sustainable” fibre that could be used for everything from carpets to suits; natural, tough and beautiful. And it would keep those qualities long after synthetics had given up the ghost. So why were its stocks in decline? The successful candidate will be able to display an understanding of local and international fashion.  You must posses an energetic and vibrant personality that relates to your customers.

Your selling skills will be exceptional and the thought of sales targets and KPI's excite you!  You must also be a great leader and have proven results in managing a team. This is the ideal role for a Store Manager from a large boutique inspired environment. You will be rewarded with a good base salary, a lucrative bonus structure and a generous clothing discount! After the fixed pricing scheme was scrapped and the industry restructured, the size of the flock was dramatically reduced, but it still took 10 years for the market to return to normal as the stockpiled wool was gradually sold on the back of stronger buying from a resurgent China. More than one-third of woolgrowers were forced to leave the industry and many who remained began breeding sheep to sell for meat instead of wool.

This dramatic policy transfer resulted in the subsidized slaughter of 10 million sheep. To make matters worse, the decade-long Australian drought dried up feed, killing off more stock. Then, in late 2004, animal rights lobby group PETA initiated a consumer boycott of Australian wool over the practice of mulesing (cutting the skin and wool from a sheep’s backside to stop blowflies from laying eggs). Nervous of having their stores picketed, fashion retailers such as Abercrombie & Fitch, H & M and Timberland, and some large designer labels (Hugo Boss) joined the boycott, prompting emergency industry-wide initiatives to find alternatives – and a counter campaign by wool farmers. I like these funkier tips from eartheasy.com. Buying traditional, classic styles instead of buying trends means less unnecessary waste. When you keep up with trends you also keep up with consumption, and you can’t possibly be seen in last seasons trend this season. But if you buy classic then your clothes are more likely to do the distance, because you will never get rid of wardrobe staples (until you have worn them through!). And if you have bought trendy, you can always get your clothing altered by a good seamstress once the trend has gone out to make your clothes last longer, and to shake up your wardrobe. A ball dress worn once can be turned into a cocktail dress, or the ill-named mullet dress could be turned into a more classical dress by making the length more uniform. Clothes can be transformed into something new instead of left hanging, unloved, or worse, thrown out!Lagerfeld officially rejoined the wool family again in 2008, as part of the AWI’s Protégé Project. A mentorship initiative launched in collaboration with Vogue Italia, it paired emerging international designers with fashion heavyweights – including Donatella Versace, Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa and Paul Smith – in the creation of a special wool-focused collection, unveiled in January 2008 at the Pitti Filati fair in Florence. In March 2008, Woolmark rejoined the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival as sponsor of the festival’s Designer Award for the next four years. The following August saw AWI launch a $120m campaign to promote wool as a clean, green luxury fibre. In March last year, AWI launched the Australian Campaign For Wool (part of the global campaign) at Admiralty House, Sydney, an event attended by fashion, media and industry figures – and several handsome merino guests of honour.

Classic Australian
So if you look into it, turns out there’s a lot of little choices we can make to make our wardrobes just that little bit more sustainable, whether you take that old dress to the seamstress to get altered or choose a fabric that is water-friendly in its wash instructions. The point is, every little bit makes a difference… and who doesn’t want to turn something old into something beautiful and wearable again instead of paying full price for something new?Says Josh Goot, who this year became an official AWI ambassador, “There are still huge segments of the target market who have preconceived ideas about wool that no longer apply – that wool is hot, scratchy and only for winter clothes such as heavy coats.  “It’s a pretty amazing fiber,” he says of the fabric he works with. “We’re working with wool blends – 60 per cent wool, 40 per cent silk – and doing digital printing on them. The quality of the cloth – and the feel of it – you wouldn’t believe there was wool in there.”Wool has been getting finer and finer. Once the benchmark was wool fibre 17 microns  in diameter (one micron is one thousandth of a millimetre), but now buyers want even less. Wool between 16.1 and 17.5 microns is ultrafine (16 or less is extra ultrafine). Since the 1980s, as quality improved, designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Donna Karan and Giorgio Armani have worked Australia’s extra-fine yarns into luxurious fabrics.Home is the peaceful dwelling for the people, who wish to stay exotically without being disturbed and also some time for certain liveliness. And for this purpose, New York City is the ideal place to buy architectural brilliance in the form of apartments.
Indeed, having just a small part to crash is more than people require, and particularly for some who probably live alone and spend most of their time out of their apartment, or for those who are just searching for a temporary arrangement. IF you want affordable NY apartments for sale; then, you need to reduce that cost in some way. Here you have several options, but it is by far suitable to choose nice one bedroom apartments than it is to move somewhere that is in a very worst area and have certain crime rate or somewhere that is maintained and that will thus leak and gather mold.  A small while ago I bogged about clothing waste good, never worn clothing being destroyed by their manufacturers. But even those of us who aren’t just plain wasteful with our clothing can do a lot to minimize the impact of clothes on the environment. The true cost of clothing is not measured solely by the price tag that you read at the shop. The environment pays the price of clothing from the impacts of growing textile fibers to manufacturing and even care for garments, and once clothes are cast off they just become dissipate.

Fashion in Russia

One considers, that people of different ages prefer diverse clothes. There are o lot of types and styles of clothes, so everybody can have their own prefers and tastes. What clothes are worn in our Lyceum? There is not uniform but there are some limitations in clothing. It may be business style or free style. Things are not the same for girls and boys of course.
Girls wear jeans or trousers with blouse, chemises, jersey or sweater. There are many varieties of trousers and jeans now. They have not only diversity in width but also in length. Girls also like to wear skirts and very seldom dresses. There are many varieties of skirts now: long, short or middle length, straight or with pleats. So choice is great because there are not only different models but there are varieties of fabrics. Girls also like diver's supplements for clothes and ornaments. Many wear ear-rings, somebody likes bracelets, chains and rings, and not many wear necklaces and brooches. Short and narrow scarf on the neck looks nice. There are belts and chains for jeans, trousers and skirts in fashion now.
Fashion Show

The history of European fashion magazines began in the 17th century, but in Russia they first appeared only in the late 18th century when private people were permitted to engage in publishing.
Which was published-in 1779, the magazine Modnoe ezhemesyachnoe izdanie, ili Biblioteka dlya damskogo tualeta [Monthly Fashion Publication, or the Library for Ladies' Dressing] came out in Moscow. For the first time, the word "fashion" was used in a Russian journal title. Pictures of clothes with funny inscriptions in Russian, such as An Overdressed Woman on a Stroll, The Cap of Victory, Exposed Charms, were issued as an supplement. French women's fashion garments of that time were subjected to light ridicule by the publisher of the French original. Nevertheless, these pages are considered to be an example of Russian fashion illustration.
In Russiawomen from aristocratic families were very pleased with the birth of Damskiy zhurnal [Ladies' Magazine] in 1827. The publication, providing readers with the latest Parisian dress designs and placing the first colour illustrations, was the very thing that socialites needed. The Listok dlya svetskih lyudey [Sheet for People of Society], issued in St. Petersburg in 1843, read, 'Our piece of writing ordered pictures directly from Paris, namely, images of large format, perfectly done, printed on the best satin paper - in short, worthy to be framed in glass.'common. Fur coats warmer and considerable then downs but have more high price. There are a lot of varies of fur coats. Its may have different fur, length, cut and other, other and other. And besides fur coats very difference on price. Some people prefer suiting coats because it more comfortable then fur coats and warmer then downs. Syiting coats may be different too. It can be very simple and have normal coast and can be chic and have very hight coast.
Though MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK RUSSIA season fall-winter 2012-2013 closed the international fashion season. The biggest fashion event in Eastern Europe took place on 21-25 March in the Congress Centre of the World Trade Centre at Krasnaya Presnya.Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia presented more than 70 new collections of the best designers from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, Poland, Peru and Great Britain. Innovations were also presented by Fashion week partners – leaders in different business fields. Among the partners of Fashion Week Russia are automobile concern Mercedes-Benz (Title Parner of Fashion Week), Maybelline New York and L’Oréal Professionnel, logistics brand DHL, hotel ‘Radisson Royal, Moscow’, ASUS and Canon.
Russian Dress

Automobile concern Mercedes-Benz is the title partner of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Fashion is the main communicative platform for Mercedes-Benz in the world. German autoconcern supports all the leading fashion weeks, from New York and Berlin to Beijing and Tokyo. This season Madrid joined the ‘family’ of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks. Apart from that, in 2012 the company is celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of the classic SL-Class roadster. The renovated SL became the flagship of the fall-winter season at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.
After this season automobile offers significantly more comfort and sportiness, setting new standards among luxury roadsters. The combination of classical proportions with innovations in technology and design is what distinguishes Mercedes-Benz automobiles and brings them close to the world of art. Respect of traditions and vision of the future are necessary qualities for a designer in any sphere, be it in the fashion industry or car manufacturing. Many people mistakenly believe that there was no fashion in Russia during the Soviet era. In reality, there were ateliers and fashion houses, specialized literature and magazines. However, it was felt that a management style in this field was authoritarian , designers did not show their individuality. Mass production of clothing determined the nature of the publications in the 1930s (Albom modeley odezhdyi shveynoy promyishlennosti RSFSR [Album of Clothes of the Garment Industry of the RSFSR]), while the Iron Curtain, descended in the end of the decade, blocked the fresh wind from Europe.
In 1944  most of the European Government commissioned the newly established Moscow Fashion Hause to create new models of clothes for the post-war period. Once again, the authoritarianism of the officials was reflected in the title: Albom modeley verhnego platya, prinyatyih na vsesoyuznom prosmotre [Album of Models of Coats Approved at the All-Union Show] (1945).
During the Thaw in the 1960s, the number of publications devoted to the questions of fashion, sewing, needlework increased. Like in the 19th century, supplements to women's magazines, publishing patterns and drawings, sprang up. During the 1970s - 80s, independent publications entitled Modeli GUMa [Clothes of GUM] were issued by GUM (Moscow State Department Store) - these were albums of seasonal clothing. In subsequent years, integration with European fashion trends was made possible thanks to Western journals published in Russian (Burda, Harper Bazaar, Vogue, etc.)
Whenr the journals published On the Maybelline NY channel on YouTube online video clips appeared covering the backstage and how, with the help of the rich colour palette of the brand’s products, vivid images are created the for the runway. Internet-broadcasting Maybelline New York also took place on social networks, and thanks to an interactive project with Facebook, guests of the shows could instantly post their photos online with their new beauty-looks created by the skilful make-up artists of the brand.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is connected to Canon by close partner relationships. For the second time Canon equipped the press-centre for the Fashion week. Also Canon has traditionally arranged a special event for professional photographers, where in the framework of the master-class they spoke about contemporary trends in the sphere of photography technologies. At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia season fall-winter 2012-2013 one of the most interesting innovations of the photography world was officially presented – a unique professional digital SLR camera of the new generation -
EOS-1DX. This universal and powerful tool is perfect for photographers of all styles and genres who often have to shoot in severe conditions and are pressed for time. EOS-1DX gives them all the necessary functions and guarantees quality. EOS-1DX combines all-time speed performance, high resolution and image quality.

Boys wear jeans, trousers which differ from models and fabrics. They wear shirts (with ties sometimes), blouses, jumpers, jackets, t-shirts and waist coats. Business suits are worn by boys more often then by girls. But there are boys who like only sport style. Any clothes of sport style is prohibited in our lyceum.
Pupils can express their mood, character or taste by colours of clothes.
The official hotel of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia for the second season was chosen to be ‘Radisson Royal, Moscow’ (its historical name is ‘Ukraine’ hotel). For the several years after its opening after renovation, the ‘Radisson Royal, Moscow’ hotel has received many awards by professionals of the sphere, becoming a winner of the prestigious tourist contest ‘World Travel Awards-2011’ in the category ‘Best luxury business-hotel in the world’.
Another beauty expert and partner of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is L’Oréal Professionnel. The unique experience of the brand, collaboration with outstanding creative personalities and their ability to form trends all allow the company to determine fashion every year in coiffure art. Hair styles at the runways are an integral part of the looks and L’Oréal Professionnel, being the official stylist of the biggest fashion event in Eastern Europe, professionally created the splendid style of the models, perfectly adding the final touch to fashion collections of the leading Russian and foreign designers.Apparently easy, but actually it is quite tricky to choose right fashion accessories. Reason being the multiple factors we neglect while selecting accessories for fashion.
It’s time to empty your closet from the junk that is no more trendy and make room for the finest ever collection of your chic fashion accessories which you are going to buy after mastering this art of choosing what we call ‘right fashion accessories’
This is a major factor misleading us while shopping the fashion accessories. Sometimes, we buy the colors and styles that are in vogue but absolutely unsuitable for our particular age or our personal style.
